Just a few missing now: Jamaica, Tamarindo, Mango and Pina-Pineapple. I think I did Lemon Ice last summer, but it was essentially colorless.
Now, what do I do with all this yarn? Any ideas?
I can't wait to try dyeing some yarn for self striping socks from Streets and YOs, but I'll have to find some sock yarn for it first, and keep my eye out for the 10/$1.00 summer Kool-Aid sales.

I love this picture!

Amazing! I love your picture! Beautiful colors. How did you ever find all the flavors?!?! I've been searching for some too and just can't find any of the lemonade ones.

I live in a bit of a backwater place where I think some things just sit on the shelf in Mom and Pop stores for a long time without selling, AND I live close to the Canadian border so I've picked some up in stores when I'm up there buying yummy things like Red Oval Cracked Wheat crackers for about half the price I can get them here, and Red River cereal, and Mackintosh Toffee, and tea, and the likes. Last summer I found Man-O-Mango Berry in a remote Amish store nearby, and Mandarina Tangerina at a little store that has a whole row of Senior Parking Only right up front and sells coffee in their in store diner for 10 cents a cup.

Wow, great colors. I'm going to have to check back here when I'm picking out koolaid for the next dye batch. As for what to do with it, the colors made me think of this free pattern for little veggies: http://www.jimmybeanswool.com/freeKnittingPatternBabyRattles.asp Or maybe I am the only one who would really like to knit an eggplant.

Wow - I was just looking around online for Kool Aid dyeing tips, specifically what yarn looks like when dyed in what color. This is the best picture I've ever seen, and I wanted to thank you so much for posting it online!
Thank you thank you thank you! :)

This is a great photo! And I'll tell ya, Jamaica is a *stunning* blood-red color.. not as hyper pink as the rest Tamarindo is a wierdo brown, but perfect for making things a little on the subdued side... (tho its weak as a dye-color, and you can accomplish the subdued by adding a color from the opposite of the color wheel)
Mango is a sexy yellow-orange. All these colors are available at hispanic groceries... thos I did find some online at Amazon/Gristedes(it took them a while, tho, so be prepared to wait for it)
Ebay also had a massive quanitity of switchin' secret, so I am intending to play with some high octane solutions of that... :-)
