So much for the mundane sewing
The mending and hemming will have to wait. There's too much other fun stuff to sew and make. I finally found the right socks to make these dogs with last week. The "pattern" is from a Martha Stewart Kids holiday issue from a couple years back. They really didn't look like anything much until the ears and tail were sewn on. The darker, spotted one could have benefitted from some dark stuffing. It would be fun to try these again sometime with smaller sized socks.
And, no, they won't get their own handknit sweaters.

I love them! The argyle one is such a great little fall dog! They look like they belong to the cute little ranks of items that appear on the awesome Wee Wonderfuls blog.

So So cute!!! I'm feeling incredibly mundane with the sewing I've got going on right now--I can identify with the need to make something this fun!

Oh, how cute are those!
Sometimes stuffed dogs don't really look like dogs, but these are just right, each with a personality.
Great job!
