Ah, I love it, so beautiful. Fair Isle is my all-time favorite, I learned to knit because I wanted to do fair isle like the ones I wore back in high school, but unfortunately its not fast for me. I'd love to watch you do it, I'm always fascinated.
you know this is why i read your blog...you have the most amazing way of conveying thoughts through how you arrange your photos. during college i read susan sontag's book on photography and it's meanings...well if she ever read your blog i think she would be impressed! she may even add a chapter or two!
I love your knitted items and the scenery pictures are fantastic!!!! I love them! ^_^ I wish I was home today, walking in the country....but then again, we have a blizzard outside so the walk probably wouldn't go too well hehe ^_^
Beautiful. The close-up on the knitting really shows the subtle interplay of color within each yarn, doesn't it?
What's the name of the mountain in the bottom picture? It looks lovely, tho' I'm sure its cold!

Okay, I may need to give fair isle another shot. My fingers don't like it.

Isn't it amazing when you knit something a lot like socks, how normal yarn (dk and up) knits up so much faster...
It's so refreshing.
Beautiful colors too!

Did you conciously select the yarn colors from your landscape or did you all of a sudden realize that they matched? Beautiful, subtle colors!
