Thanks for this - I'm dyeing mohair tomorrow with purple basil, indigo, yellow onion skins and chamomile, using alum as a mordant. Never done it before, so I'm using Rita Buchanan's 'A Dyer's Garden' as a guide. It's a bit scary, so your timely mosaic is very motivating.
