Greenmoss

The ever-green forests and coastline of my childhood now seem exotic, almost impossibly green and lush, yet still deeply ingrained and familiar.

Oh, I so know what you mean. I grew up on the coast of B.C and now live in the interior. Whenever I go back I think - was it always this green? Surely not, it must rain more now. But no, it was always that lush and beautiful, although I still choose to live where I am now and enjoy the warmth and sunshine of here over the greenery of there. Sounds like a wonderful trip. I do think that I recall the name Sunshine coast being thought up by a keen realtor developer. ;-)

What wonderful photos. Thanks for sharing all that green.

Wow! Great photos. I lurk a lot and love, love, love your photos.

I love the picture of the snail---I miss those snails! We won't see them where we're living now...

Beautiful. The top picture is so neat.
