Inside out.

Buckup

This buck, seen the second to last day of hunting season, from my position on the couch, must have know he'd have a safe haven at our house.

Thank you for the well wishes.

Although it's been a lifesaver, there has been far too much movie watching for my liking in the past several days (Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer being the exception, and I guess the new version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was pretty good, too).  The boys got worse before improving and none of us had enough energy for much else.

Don't know why I'm sharing this here, but I guess I just thought it kind of funny to hear what they're thinking while their in the midst of it.  Certainly more than anybody really cares to know.  Heard from their sick beds, buckets in hand, between bouts:

R:  "I feel like the weakest child in the world." and "How does it come back up?"  Me:  my lame guess of an answer.  R: "diaphragm...that sounds just like diagram".

E:  "There's a baby Santa.  He goes in the sleigh and is squished in the seat next to Santa.  When he gets tired, he crawls in back and goes to sleep."

The already promised backlog of knitting still to come in the next several days, although terribly out of sequence, reaching back into September and to Halloween.   Must catch up first before moving onto a new season.

Glad wellness has found you all.

Having 5 children, those bugs always make the rounds at my house. And the parents don't get much sleep. We always hope that both parents don't go down at the same time. That would be very bad! And thinking about it now, I don't think that has happened much at all.

I'm glad to hear the crew is feeling better, and it warms my heart to see Rudolph taking sanctuary in your yard. I think any creature alive would know it was a safe and happy place to be.

Don't forget Swiss Family Robinson if you still need media convalescence. Hope the pails get to retire from active service soon.

that is an amazing picture!

I love that you shared their funny stories! That cliche, 'Kids say the darndest things' is absolutely true. You can't help but laugh and in a time of cleaning up throw-up and all that, laughing is a good thing (well, unless it makes you vomit)!
