Goodbye, Winter!
You're not quite gone yet, and I'm already looking forward to your return. : )
"Oh, please don't go! We'll eat you up. We love you so!"
REAL snow cones. Still experimenting with different syrups. The Swedish, concentrated Onos blackcurrent saft my mom brought out from Seattle was far superior to the Torani, by the way.
Tomorrow: Spring! We've been invited to the a Spring Equinox party/potluck at the "local" Waldorf School about an hour and a half away on Thursday, and a Full Moon drumming/potluck on Friday. Apparently it's time to come out of hibernation.

I'm thinking hey, let's go knit some tree sweaters in Lisa Souza's "Wild Things" colorway. She named it for the book--and got a phone call from Sendak's editor in NYC, who wanted to knit him a scarf from it.

Black currants are one of my favorite flavors! I'm in the Seattle area...where the heck did you mom find that? Somewhere in Ballard? I have got to know!!! It looks yummy :)
