Some more of my favorite grey things, these all along the 11 mile drive between our house and town. And, yes, the roof finally caved in after the snow we had in early January, followed by a warm thaw and lots of rain. Sadly, it's leaning heavily now, and I'm trying to come to terms with that, to be OK with it's demise, to appreciate it a little even.
After 6 weeks or so with little to no real snowfall, we woke up this morning to a bright new blanket of white, with still more coming down! If it's going to be winter, well, then no more of this namby pamby rain stuff. Bring it on!
At least, it's something to cover up the mix of skating rink and puddly sink holes that have been our driveway for nearly two months now.
At best, it means fresh powder on the mountain for the weekend!
Thank you for all the nice commentary about the TY Cardigan. Chris said the pictures don't really do it justice, but I'm not really up for a retake.
