Spiderweb Capelet
Pattern: Spiderweb Capelet, from Stitch 'n' Bitch Nation. Yarn: Crystal Palace Merino Frappe, the called for yarn, in Charcoal. A quick, frivolous knit on awkwardly monstrous needles, size 15. Be forewarned there is a GLARING error in the book, correction here: (Page isn't working right now. Will update when possible, but I think others have posted the corrections if you Google it). Glad to have come across that before beginning on this. I imagine it's caused a fair amount of frustration for others. Modification: I knit, I think, two extra repeats of the lace pattern before the decreasing at the top. There was plenty of yarn to do so in the 2 balls. Like all lace, this benefit from a good blocking.
